I am attempting to rebuild my Geant 10.4 installation under High Sierra. I had previously built it as RelWithDebugInfo, but I need to drop optimization, so I changed that to Debug. But now |ccmake| is failing out with
CMake Error at cmake/Modules/Geant4OptionalComponents.cmake:121 (if): if given arguments:
Unknown arguments specified Call Stack (most recent call first): cmake/Modules/G4CMakeMain.cmake:59 (include) CMakeLists.txt:56 (include)
I dug into the .cmake files, and saw that this line involves trying to use the system EXPAT library. So I switched to using the Geant4 distributed version (GEANT4_USE_SYSTEM_EXPAT OFF), and that *also* fails!
CMake Error at /usr/local/Cellar/cmake/3.9.5/share/cmake/Modules/TestBigEndian.cmake:49 (message): no suitable type found Call Stack (most recent call first): source/externals/expat/sources.cmake:55 (test_big_endian) cmake/Modules/G4DeveloperAPI_OLD.cmake:465 (include) source/externals/expat/CMakeLists.txt:20 (GEANT4_GLOBAL_LIBRARY_TARGET)
I am using CMake 3.9.5 installed via Homebrew (which I've used for the past many builds). Is this something other MacOSX users have seen?
