None OpenGL not registered despite succesful installation

I've had Geant4+OGL running on this Linux machine (Arch 4.12 with Intel video card) for a few years and through a few versions. I removed all previous traces of Geant4 and downloaded the latest source code to attempt to update. I compiled Geant with -DGEANT4_USE_OPENGL_X11 and -DGEANT4_USE_QT. The compilation process reports that the OpenGL component was successfully installed and there are libG4OpenGL.so object files in the install directory.

When I attempt to run one of the examples, a new QT window opens (as expected) but OGL is not one of the registered graphic systems.

"Current available graphics systems are: ASCIITree (ATree) DAWNFILE (DAWNFILE) G4HepRep (HepRepXML) G4HepRepFile (HepRepFile) RayTracer (RayTracer) VRML1FILE (VRML1FILE) VRML2FILE (VRML2FILE) gMocrenFile (gMocrenFile) "

I've reinstalled mesa, updated my system, restarted, and recompiled a few times but still no luck. I'm at a loss for how to investigate this further. Other applications can use OpenGL without issue.

Anyone have any ideas?
