Hi, Ben.

Apologies for the belated reply...

I think if the geant4 sh script in bin adds the Xerces lib to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH var then this would be sufficient for me and probably for almost all G4 users.

A pkg-config setting would not be helpful for me, as I don't use that tool. I'm only using CMake.
