This is a real error, and this code will not run correctly -- it is putting a 64-bit pointer into a 32-bit variable. The code is NOT 64-bit safe (left over from a time when there were only 32-bit compilers).

> any previously undefined public symbols, so it will not be used by any
> link operation that consumes this library

This can be ignored -- the C++ file that generated the .obj is empty, most likely because its code was removed by a #ifdef of a feature you are not using.
