Question CMAKE errors during GEANT4 configuration

Forum: Installation and Configuration
Date: 09 Mar, 2016
From: Maura E.M. <Maura E.M.>

     Dear experts,

I am trying to install GEANT4 on my Mac running El Capitan 10.11.2. I downloaded cmake-3.5.0-Darwin-x86_64.tar.Z from https://cmake.org/download. This package is installed in /Applications but links are created to /usr/local/bin. For instance, if I type in a terminal 'which cmake' the system responds '/usr/local/bin/cmake'. Nevertheless, when I launched GEANT4 confiduration procedure I got errors related to cmake, which I am copying in the following. Please, reply to maura.monville@gmail.com. Many thanks.

mauraedillesMBP:geant4.10.02.p01-build mauede$ cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/Users/mauede/geant4.10.02.p01-install /Users/mauede/geant4.10.02.p01
