If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.

Hi, I just upgraded my geant4 installation to the latest version (geant4.10.01.p02) on my MacBook pro running the latest MacOSX10.10.4 operating system. The geant4 source code was downloaded from the official geant4 website. During the configuration and installation stages I did not encounter any errors. However, when I tried to run example B1 by executing the commands to build the application and run basic example B1, I get an error message. The commands and their partial outputs (last few lines of output) are listed below. Command: cmake -DGeant4_DIR=/user/local/geant4.10.01.p02-install/lib/Geant4-10.0.1.2 /Users/pzw/G4WORK/examples/basic/B1 Partial Outputs: -- Check for working C compiler: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/cc -- works -- Detecting C compiler ABI info -- Detecting C compiler ABI info - done -- Detecting C compile features -- Detecting C compile features - done -- Check for working CXX compiler: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/c++ -- Check for working CXX compiler: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/c++ -- works -- Detecting CXX compiler ABI info -- Detecting CXX compiler ABI info - done -- Detecting CXX compile features -- Detecting CXX compile features - done -- Configuring done -- Generating done -- Build files have been written to: /Users/pzw/G4WORK/B1-build Command: pzw@machintosh$ make -j4 Output: Scanning dependencies of target exampleB1 [ 12%] [ 25%] [ 37%] [ 50%] Building CXX object CMakeFiles/exampleB1.dir/exampleB1.cc.o Building CXX object CMakeFiles/exampleB1.dir/src/B1ActionInitialization.cc.o Building CXX object CMakeFiles/exampleB1.dir/src/B1DetectorConstruction.cc.o Building CXX object CMakeFiles/exampleB1.dir/src/B1EventAction.cc.o [ 62%] Building CXX object CMakeFiles/exampleB1.dir/src/B1PrimaryGeneratorAction.cc.o [ 75%] Building CXX object CMakeFiles/exampleB1.dir/src/B1Run.cc.o [ 87%] Building CXX object CMakeFiles/exampleB1.dir/src/B1RunAction.cc.o [100%] Building CXX object CMakeFiles/exampleB1.dir/src/B1SteppingAction.cc.o Linking CXX executable exampleB1 [100%] Built target exampleB1 pzw@machintosh$ pzw@machintosh$ ./exampleB1 dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libicui18n.54.dylib Referenced from: /usr/local/lib/libxerces-c-3.1.dylib Reason: image not found Trace/BPT trap: 5 pzw@machintosh$ Any help to resolve this problem will be appreciated.
