I was confused about it because the all installation and compilation process seem correct. Could anybody give me some suggestion? or should I check some code? thanks a lot.

To get more info on what caused the fault, exampleB1 (and ideally Geant4 itself) can be built in Debug mode. To do that pass the argument -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug to cmake when configuring exampleB1, e.g.

$ cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug

That can also be used when configuring Geant4 itself. The resulting executable can be run through a debugger such as gdb to get more detailed info on where the seg fault occured.

Cheers,

Ben.
