Hello, I am trying to install GDML into Geant4 and am running into some issues. Issue: When re-building Geant4 to include GDML with Visual Studio, I get this error: fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'xercesc/parsers/XercesDOMParser.hpp': No such file or directory and the Geant4 with GDML build fails after compiling everything else that doesn't require Xercesc. Please help. System Info: Windows 8, 64 bit Visual Studio 2010 Cmake 2.8.12 Geant4_10_00 Xerces 3.1.1 Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\CMake 2.8\bin; C:\Users\Dray\Documents\Geant4\geant4-install\bin; C:\Users\Dray\Documents\Geant4\geant4-install\share\Geant4-10.0.0\data; C:\Program Files\Xerces\xerces-c-3.1.1\bin; Environmental Variables: g4gdml_xercesc_root C:\Program Files\Xerces\xerces-c-3.1.1 GDMLLIBS C:\Program Files\Xerces\xerces-c-3.1.1-x86_64-windows-vc-10.0\lib xerces-c_3.lib Path variable C:\Program Files\Xerces\xerces-c-3.1.1\bin; XERCESCROOT C:\Program Files\Xerces\xerces-c-3.1.1 My install of Xerces is found here: C:\Program Files\Xerces\xerces-c-3.1.1 I am using the pre built version of Xerces found here: http://xerces.apache.org/mirrors.cgi#binary under the binary distributions 64bit category I just renamed the root directory from the x64 style to 3.1.1 so that the Geant4Config.cmake file could find it when building Geant4 due to the line here: set(Geant4_THIRD_PARTY_INCLUDE_DIRS C:/Program Files/Xerces/xerces-c-3.1.1) on line 198 of the config file. Thank you so much for you help and please let me know if you need anything else. Sincerely, Zachary Babbitt [ MIME part of type text/html without a name stripped ]
