I had to install Geant4, Cmake, and ROOT on a bunch of computers so I decided to make a script that automatically installs on Linux. Please feel free to download and try it out. The file installs
Success on Ubuntu 12.04,13.04,13.10, and Mint 64 and 32 bit operating systems on AMD and Intel processors.
The file is a script and a readme in one. Rename the file from a .txt to .sh to run as a script. The forum won't allow a .sh file to be posted. Some modification can be made to optimize installation for your particular machine and that is explained in the file. If you don't want to use the file it is at least good for following the correct steps for installation. This is not an official product by any means, I just thought it may help some people. I know it took me a while to install my first time. Happy Geanting.
