I experienced the same problem when building 32-bit Geant4.10.0 on Windows 7 with mingw-64 (i686).

I ran genwindef via gdb and it turned out that the reason for the crash was a library libstdc++-6.dll shipped with gnuplot. After I removed gnuplot from PATH the problem was solved. (Maybe moving MinGW's library in front of the PATH would also help, I didn't test.) Maybe you should check if you have some other incompatible/clashing dll somewhere in PATH.
