What path did you supply to CMake as the source directory for Geant4? This needs to be the directory that the source bundle unpacks to which should create the hierarchy:

+- geant4.9.6.p01/
   +- CMakeLists.txt
   +- cmake/
   +- config/
   +- environments/
   +- examples/
   +- physics_lists
   +- ReleaseNotes/
   +- source/

The error messages look like you might have pointed CMake to the geant4.9.6.p01/source directory rather than the geant4.9.6.p01/ directory. If that's the case, simply rerun CMake and point it to the geant4.9.6.p01/ directory, it should then work.
