Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.

I am just trying to install the latest ver of geant4. I am migrating from 4.9.4 to 4.9.6. i can see there is this new feature to install using cmake. I am just having issues trying following the instructions provided at:
I am having problems following the instructions in "To configure the build, change into the build directory and run CMake: "
The main problem is that there is not make target. Inside the geant4 source code there is not target to make, there is not makefile or GNUmakefile or anything alike. By any chance, did they implemented more changes to geant4 install and they forget to update the installation guide?
I also find it very confusing you guys are trying to maintain three options to build geant convoluted to the option of installing it on three different platforms, all in a single set of instructions.
yes, as you can see, I am new at using cmake and having a more straightforward set of instructions would be helpful. Chris
