Do you get any files for 9.6.0 installed under C:/Program Files(x86)/Geant4? If not, then this is probably a permissions error and you'll need to be admin (as for installing any other program). If that's the case, you can also install anywhere under your own directory as Geant4 is agnostic on this (you just need to adjust paths accordingly when building your applications).

If you do have files installed in C:/Program Files(x86)/Geant4, then this is likely to be a bug in quoting the paths correctly. That being the case, please submit a bug report on our Bugzilla system under the cmake component. If you do that, please include as much information as possible, including the Visual Studio output, and any relevent files mentioned as causing the errors.
