Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.

|1||0||1||no text / full text of posting|
|2||1||All||text for level 1 only / text for All postings|
Outline: Choose the depth of the posting thread, successive toggle controls provide increasing detail.
|1||2||1||2 levels / 1 level (original posting)|
|2||3||2||3 levels / 2 levels|
|3||3||All||3 levels / all levels (all postings)|
Greetings, I hope you can help me with this as I am learning Unix on the fly. I have installed geant4.9.5.p01. I have installed: Coin-3.1.3, CLHEP 126.96.36.199, dawn390b, and Open Scientist. The install seems to have been clean. But when I attempt to build example B1, I receive the error: Making dependency for file exampleB1.cc . . . Creating shared library /root/geant4_workdir/tmp/Linux-g++/exampleB1/libexampleB1.so /usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libInventorXt.so when searching for -lInventorXt /usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libInventorXt.so when searching for lInventorXt /usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhad-linux/4.4.6/../../../libInventorXt.so when searching for lInventorXt /usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/libInventorXt.so when searching for lInventorXt /usr/bin/ld: cannot find lInventorXt collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [/root/geant4_workdir/tmp/Linux-g++/exampleB1/libexampleB1.so] Error 1 My first instinct is that there must be a 64 bit file for libInventorXt.so, but I have tried installing inventor 3 different times, and I never get one in my /usr/lib64 directory. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, George Peterson firstname.lastname@example.org [ MIME part of type text/html without a name stripped ]
