None different result with different compiler

Hi everybody, I build a MonteCarlo simulation to study the muon-induced neutron yield. I find different results when I run the same code in two different clusters: in the first one there is installed geant4 version 9.3 and gcc 4.3.2, while in the second cluster there is installed geant4 version 9.3 and gcc 4.1.2.

The data libraries are exactly the same, so the only difference is in the compiler version.

Even if I initialize the random generator to the same value I obtain different results.

Is there anybody who has had the same problem or that can explain me where is the problem?

thanks in advance

                     Rino
