If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.

I am having a tough time getting GEANT to both install and compile code on Ubuntu. I've successfully run GEANT using CYGWIN but I've run into memory stack problems with CGYWIN. So i'm trying to install GEANT using a virtual machine running Ubuntu. But after spending an entire day trying to find all the necessary packages and finally getting GEANT to install, I still can't compile my code. I seem to be getting bizarre errors about not finding G4RayTraverXViewer(?).
Is Red Hat easier to get up and running with GEANT?
Anyone have thoughts on this issue.
thanks for any advice? matthew
