I'm trying to install Geant4 on a windows operating system following the instructions on the GEant4 website.
I have downloaded Microsoft Visual c++ Express 2010 and installed. I go into the directory C:cygwin and alter the batch file to include the line of code that says call "SOME DIRECTORY". I have made sure that the directory is correct and then altered the file following the instructions.
Following on from there I go to open CYGWIN and it is supposed to print a line saying "Setting environment for using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 x86 tools". According to the instructions it says that I haven't got Visual C++ integrated in the set up correctly.. I'm all out of ideas..
Can anyone help??
By the way I have tried this on two different machines both to get the same result one for windows XP and one for windows 7.
