Thanks, which graphics driver options did you enable, in particular, did you enable RayTracerX, i.e. did you answer yes when Configure asked you "Enable building of the X11 RayTracer visualization driver?"?

Can you also run the following commands and post the output here:

  • ldd /home/rvd/geant4/geant4.9.3.p02/lib/Linux-g++/libG4RayTracer.so
  • nm /home/rvd/geant4/geant4.9.3.p02/lib/Linux-g++/libG4RayTracer.so | grep G4RayTracerX

I suspect either a mis-configured Geant4 installation or a missing/unfound X11 library...

No, the '-rw-r--r--' is fine, it only needs to be be read.

Again, no, it's just that this has caused odd errors in the past so I wanted to double check if this might be another symptom.
