Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.
|1||0||1||no text / full text of posting|
|2||1||All||text for level 1 only / text for All postings|
Outline: Choose the depth of the posting thread, successive toggle controls provide increasing detail.
|1||2||1||2 levels / 1 level (original posting)|
|2||3||2||3 levels / 2 levels|
|3||3||All||3 levels / all levels (all postings)|
Thank you for responding, I still can't make it work though.
I first ran the example with G4 only, it then compiles the cc.-files and I get an exe-file but the prompt ends with: "Compiling TestEm12.cc // TestEm12.cc//Using global libraries//Linking TestEm12//LINK: warning LNK4044: unrecognized option '/link'; ignored // ... Done!"
So it makes an exe-file and I can run it with my macro, not sure if it's running correctly because of the error-message...
Then I use DOS and call osc_batch/.../setup.bat followed by Cygwin. I use "source C:/G.../env.sh" is this the correct syntax for source setup??
I build and run the example, (the prompt gives me the same output as before: "... warning LNK4044... Done!"). It seems to run correctly and doesn't give me any error-messages.
I switch on the G4ANALYSIS_USE := true in the GNUmakefile and it compiles but when I attempt to run it with my macro it stops at "---> Begin of event: 0". The lines above it states: "BatchLab::TreeFactory::create_tree : unknown type ´k´ // HistoManager::book() : problem creating the AIDA tree with storeName = Bragg.hbook storeType = hbook readOnly = 0 createNew = 1"
So it jumps me back to the prompt and I get no output.
Any thoughts on what has gone wrong? perhaps I should try reinstalling G4 and starting over but I'd rather not.
Thanks again, J
