  It seems that when following instructions of "Working with VisualC++", you missed the :
      DOS> <source setup Geant4>
That is to say, or the G4INSTALL is not defined, or does not point to your G4 installation
 at the time you issue "make". And then the make command can't proceed....

 As said in the OpenScientist pages, before attempting to connect AIDA (and then raising
the G4ANALYSIS_USE env variable), you have to check that you can build and run the example
"with G4 only". Then here, from the DOS terminal : "source setup the osc_batch kit", launch CYGWIN,
"source setup G4" (important),  go under the TestEm example, attempt to build and run. If it is ok,
then look if the command "aida-config --incs, --libs" returns something sensible, then raise the G4ANALYSIS_USE, do a make clean of the example, and attempt again a "build and run".
