Hi users, I installed on my Ubuntu 9.10 Geant4 9.3 in the directory:

and CLHEP in the directory:

and I added to .bashrc the file pseudo_bashrc.txt

Now if I try to compile the example N01 I obtain:

Using granular libraries ... Linking exampleN01 /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lG4digits collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [/home/devoto/work/geant4/bin/Linux-g++/exampleN01] Error 1

If before to compile I write:

the output is on file

If now I compile I have:

Creating shared library /home/devoto/work/geant4/tmp/Linux-g++/exampleN01/ ... /usr/bin/ld: ExN01DetectorConstruction.o: relocation R_X86_64_32S against `vtable for ExN01DetectorConstruction' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC ExN01DetectorConstruction.o: could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [/home/devoto/work/geant4/tmp/Linux-g++/exampleN01/] Error 1

Where is my mistake? But the strange thing is that yesterday everything worked, and now not... I didn't modified anything, I created only a my new example. Do you have any ideas? Thank you Francesco
