Thanks for the info - that's useful to know. I've been concentrating on CMake, but will take a look at SCons - it seems to have developed a bit from when I last looked at it. The one thing I have seen with SCons is a significant number of large projects finding it apparently rather slow with large code bases. However, it's possible the recent releases have solved this...
