Hi Melanie,

The 'error' message:

/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /cea/home/b2/rainem/OpenScientist/osc_batch/16.8/lib/libBatchLabAIDA.so when searching for -lBatchLabAIDA

is usually a symptom of trying to mix 32 and 64bit libraries. You're either running on a 64bit system and trying to link in 32bit libraries, or vice versa.

I -suspect- you downloaded once of the binary releases of OpenScientist osc_batch but for i*86 rather than x86_64. That being the case, make you get the version for the architecture you're running on - it should hopefully be o.k. then!

Cheers,

ben.
