Question OPEN GL file location in Ubuntu Linux

Forum: Installation and Configuration
Date: 03 Feb, 2009
From: Rahul Shah <Rahul Shah>

Hi: I'm new to Linux and Geant4 so I have some very basic questions on the install. (a) I'm certain I've open GL since I'm using the NVIDIA driver and within its menu it specifies details about openGL (just not where it is).

When I compile, following the install directions for Geant, I am asked to specify the correct path for OPENGL. Would anyone know where I might look for this? I've checked around a bit in /usr and /dev and /lib but nothing seemed obvious.

(b) When I installed CLHEP all went well outside of the fact that no bin, install and lib folders were created. Should files have been created in these folders or can I just go ahead and create them (since Geant asks for their locations).

Thanks, Rahul
