Forum: Installation and Configuration

I use Geant4 but I do not use the Geant4 make system. I use Configure -cxxflags (and similar flags) to determine what compilation and link flags required. This happens in a configure script. I have noticed that my script fails if shared libraries are allowed in Geant4, because before getting the answer I seek, Configure tells me:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set to include CLHEP and Geant4 libraries.

NOTE : verify that the correct path for the CLHEP library [etc]

This message comes from env.sh. Is there a way to eliminate this message? Or is parsing the output the solution?

Regards, Giuseppe
