Question Recording incident spectrum

Hello, I have a seemingly simple problem. I have a simulation which consists of an air filled sphere. I trigger a point source of gammas at the center of the sphere and I would like to record the spectrum at a few different radii in the following format: x-coord, y-coord, z-coord, xmomentum, ymomentum, zmomentum, energy, particle type

Can this be done in SteppingAction? Is there an example which records spectra like this? If I set the verbose output on the screen, I can see all of these parameters, but I would like to only record them in thin "detector shells" at different radii. Could someone please give me some advice or example code. I have been scratching my head over this the past week.
