I want to make certain detector components sensitive and get basic information in the hits (just energy and position). But I want to do this separately for about 50 detector components and then have these hits histogrammed. I can successfully do this for one SD by making an SD and Hit Class and a Histogram Manager class. However I want to stream line it so I can use the same SD and Hit Class for 50 separate instances. I have tried to use for loops and index some of the objects but it doesnt seem to work, is there some examples on this or any pointers on how to go about it? I guess the main thing I dont understand is how to successfully make (i.e. index) and access (i.e. access the index) the hit collections when it comes time to histogram.
