Question How can I know the photon energy right before it reaches the sensitive detector?

Hi:

I have a parameterized box sensitive detector to record the hit position and momentum direction of single ray gamma photon. I know I can simply get the information of energy deposit in the detector by using aStep->GetTotalEnergyDeposit() in ProcessHit() , however what I am interested is the photon energy right before it hits on the detector. Is there anyone know how to do that?

Appreciated any help!

Thanks, Linxi
