I am new simulating in Geant 4, and right now I am trying to mount a simulation for a specific instrument used in x-ray astrophysics.
so, I want to calculate the total energy deposited into the detector for each event (each gamma photon or electron).
I got a EXN02 example and modified some parts, adapting the code to my simulation.
So, the simulation show me the energy deposited for each interaction of the photon into the detector, for instance, if the photon interacts 5 times, the code show me five different energy values and the place into the detector where happened the interaction. I want to get a total energy deposited in all the interactions for each photon but I don't know how do it??
I would like your help, I attach the files that I am using in my simulation.
