Question Readout geometry and post step point

Forum: Hits, Digitization and Pileup
Date: 03 Dec, 2009
From: Guillaume Landry <Guillaume Landry>

Hi,

Is there a way to use a primitive scorer in conjunction with a readout geometry so that a hit would give the index of the PostStepPoint instead of the PreStepPoint?

I am transporting low energy photons in a uniform volume and am not generating secondaries. I want to score the energy deposition of an interaction at the interaction point. If I use the PreStepPoint, the energy deposition of the first step is always associated to the part of the ROgeom containing my source (origin for example).

Any help appreciated, Regards, Guillaume
