Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. I am making a similar simulation and I found some interesting results. First I think you should check the neutron energy. Boron-10 is a good absorber of the thermal or cold neutrons and your energy is in MeV range. If you control the cross sections, you will find that at about 0.025 eV, capture cross section of Boron is maximum. When you correct the energy, you should use HP neutron models in the hadron physics. The tricky part will come then. Geant4 4.9.0 and 4.9.1 don't give the correct alpha energies from this reaction. If you track the alpha energy, you will only see 1.75 MeV alphas, but there must be 1.47 MeV alphas with % 94. I think there is a bug for these versions. My suggestion is that use Geant4 4.8.2 or 4.8.3 versions for this simulation. Good luck.
