Yep, you should assign to the isotope also its excitation energy. If the 
excitation energy is similar to the one written in the $G4RADIOACTIVEDATA/z36.a83 database (namely 41.54 keV)
the GPS will produce 83mKr. If I remember correctly, the tolerance is 2 keV.
