Gunter, upgrading to 9.1 worked. It took me a few days to get around to installing the latest version, but I can now see the 4.43 MeV peak from C-12. I will try some of the other materials to see if I get the expected peaks.

Another question for you: Is the precompound model the best model to use for looking at the gamma spectrum from protons? I have been using this one because it gives me good results for depth dose profiles and lateral profiles, but I wasn't sure about gamma spectrum. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
