I have written similar code for the C(p,p)C reaction. Instead of adding the azimuthal asymmetry from the polarisation in the ApplyYourself function, I do it via a new XXXHadronElasticProcess::PostStepDoIt function, after the call to ApplyYourself. So given the final state from the Hadronic Model I recalculate the phi angle from a sin(phi) distribution. Here you have access to the DynamicParticles and thus polarisations. It has the added advantage that you can choose any of the G4 hadronic models for cross sections and theta distributions.
