Question Deuteron Elastic C(d,d)C scattering (50MeV - 1000MeV) polarised

Polarised C(d,d)C elastic scattering is apparently not yet available in Geant4. Therefore, I am building my own (literature data driven) model. However, in:

G4HadFinalState* DeuteronElastic::ApplyYourself(const G4HadProjectile& aTrack, G4Nucleus& targetNucleus)

The only reference to the incoming projectile is the G4HadProjectile reference. This does not contain the particle polarisation. Therefore I cannot access the Polarisation of the track. So my question is this:

Is there any trivial/elegant workaround for this?

thanks ahead,
