Hello,

When 100 MeV neutron incident it a very small probability to have 100 keV 
recoil in Lead - practically neutron should be reflected back. To show 
that everything fine with energy-momentum balance and production threshold 
for this recoil, I set recoil energy 1 keV, then very frequently one can 
see Pb ion produced (/tracking/verbose 2):

   11     36.6     11.9      -40     0.283        0     2.36      23.9      
Target Transportation
   12     36.5     11.4    -40.7     0.281        0     0.85      24.7      
Target hElastic
    :----- List of 2ndaries - #SpawnInStep=  1(Rest= 0,Along= 0,Post= 1), 
#SpawnTotal=  1 ---------------
    :      36.5      11.4     -40.7   0.00198         Pb206[0.0]

here Pb energy 1.98 keV; Phys List QGSP_BIC.

In the case of HP neutron scattering this threshould is not yet 
implemented, so all recoils will be simulated.
