Question Ignoring ssecondary particles

Forum: Hadronic Processes
Date: 21 Mar, 2007
From: Andy <ashoaf@purdue.edu>

I am trying to simulate the flux profile of thermal neutrons through a series of metal foils. However, I am experiencing problems when gamma production occurs. (Segmentation Faults)

Is it possible to completely ignore the production of secondary particles (other than neutrons) after the neutrons interact? This way my program is simplified and my processing power is dedicated just to the tracking of neutrons.

Much appreciation, Andy
