Hi Stephanie, The QGS model used in the QGSP physics list called from N04 has an upper limit of 100 TeV, but only for p,n,pi,K. For particles like anti-Lambda, the QGSP phsyics list uses the high energy parameterized model (HEP) which has a default upper limit of 10 TeV, hence your problem. Due to a lack of data for such particles at this energy, the model has not been validated, so the 10 TeV limit is just an educated guess. Since anti-lambdas and such are unlikely to be important in your application, you could just extend the upper limit of the HEP model which would prevent your simulation from crashing. This is really the only option because Geant4 has no other models which apply to these particles. To change the upper limit, you need to modify some code in the physics_list/hadronic/Packaging directory in your copy of the Geant4 toolkit. To change the limit for anti-Lambdas add the line: theHEAntiLambdaModel->SetMaxEnergy(100*TeV); to the file G4MiscLHEPBuilder.cc Repeat this for other particles which may pop up as well, like anti-Sigmas, etc. Then compile and re-build the physics lists.
