None Problem with PIXE experimental and simulation scale

Dear All,

PIXE features have been implementated into Geant4 using databases such as variations of ECPSSR.

But, there is some debate on how accurate the data is as we get into higher energies.

I performed an experimental measurement at 100 MeV proton and simulated in Geant4 and my experimental measurement for PIXE is way less than the simulation (By many many factors).

Does anyone have experience with PIXE at high energy? Is it accepted to be way off at high energy?

Thank you,

Kurt Van Delinder
