Thanks to everybody who responded - now I know how to tag the secondaries - Hard03 SteppingAction.cc example is helpful.

Now, what I would like to do nex, is to change the cross sections for some channels, like gamma + N->N* + n, etc

It seems to me that the total photonuclear cross section is defined in source/processes/hadronic/cross_sections/src/G4PhotoNuclearCrossSection.cc

but I don't see where are the cross sections for the individual photonuclear final state processes defined, like 1 neutron, 2 neutrons, gamma+neutron FS, etc?
