I'm having troubles with some simulations of neutron generation driven by moderate energy protons in a pitcher-catcher configuration.
I started from the example in geant4.10.04.p02/examples/extended/hadronic/NeutronSource and modified it to my needs.
From previous works I know that the data-driven model implemented in G4HadronPhysicsQGSP_BIC_AllHP works better than G4HadronPhysicsQGSP_BIC_HP. So, basically, I replaced G4HadronPhysicsQGSP_BIC_HP with G4HadronPhysicsQGSP_BIC_AllHP in the PhysicsList.cc of the example.
The problem is that using a LiF proton-neutron converter, I often get the following error (it didn't happen with Be or Li):

My question is: how do I know which models are overlapping and how do I change the min/max energies in order to remove the overlapping, but still have a reliable simulation?
