I am trying to figure out some issues with generated uranium decay spectra in Geant4.10.03.p01 and I noticed that the (constant) value of fAlphaMax in G4LevelReader is set to 18 ("9.0f+9"). Is that a typo and meant to be 9e9? Because it seems to be causing serious issues with the PhotonEvaporation database, for example with the 1.0628 MeV level of U234, where some of the transitions have large, but nonetheless finite and meaningful alpha values... With fAlphaMax set to 18. it completely throws off the relative strengths of the different emissions...
