Question unstable ion lifetimes wildly wrong

This is geant4-10-02-patch-01 on Mac OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan).

This is the code:
    G4IonTable *ionTable = G4IonTable::GetIonTable();
    int Z=94, N=238;
    G4ParticleDefinition *pd = ionTable->GetIon(Z,N);
    double lifetime = pd->GetIonLifeTime()/ns;
    printf("N=%d Z=%d lifetime=%.4g\n",N,Z,lifetime);
It prints:
    N=238 Z=94 lifetime=-1
Which means the ion table thinks that Pu238 is stable. Of course it is not stable.

This used to work: in geant4-10-01-patch-01 it gives the correct lifetime.

When I print my list of unstable isotopes (extracted from a NIST database), many of them are incorrectly claimed to be stable; every isotope above Rn233 is claimed to be stable.

Why did this change? How can I get the correct lifetimes for all unstable ions?
