I'm seeing strange neutron capture products when simulating hadronic cascades in ice. After long research I'm still not able to identify this process. My Detector Material is ice, composed with isotopes. I attached the most important part of the code to this post.
So I expect low energy neutrons to be mostly captured on hydrogen, forming deuterium which releases a 2.2 MeV gamma. However, the most abundant nCapture process looks like this:

With two deuterons produced. I can neither identify what kind of nCapture this is suppose to be nor pinpoint a bug in my code. Less abundanc captures on e.g. nitrogen look ok.
