Dear Denis, thank you for your answer. I think that makes sense if it is mainly isotropic. By grazing angle I mean the scattered angle for which the two nucleus barely touch each other during the collision. Above that nuclear processes should take place and a decrease of the flux with respect to the Rutherford scattering should be seen?
