Question No de-excitation for Li in G4AtomicTransitionManager

Forum: Hadronic Processes
Date: 23 May, 2016
From: David Hall <David Hall>

I am using Geant4.10.2.p01 to simulate a beam of 150 MeV protons stopping in G4_WATER.

If I add G4RadioactiveDecayPhysics to my physics list then I encounter the following warning a few times in every 100,000 histories:

-------- WWWW ------- G4Exception-START -------- WWWW -------
*** G4Exception : de0001
      issued by : G4AtomicTransitionManager::Shell()
No de-excitation for Z= 3  shellIndex= 2>=  numberOfShells= 2 AtomicShell not found
*** This is just a warning message. ***
-------- WWWW -------- G4Exception-END --------- WWWW -------

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks, David
