Question Sample decay chain populations at user defined time

Forum: Hadronic Processes
Date: 09 Mar, 2016
From: Fatima Garcia <Fatima Garcia>

Hi all,

I'm wanting to model the decay and activity of several radioactive species, but I would like to sample the populations of each step of a chain at certain times, so as to create a decay curve (Activity vs Time). I've looked into the radioactive decay samples (specifically rdecay01), but they seem only to consider the case for counts vs energy (for various particles in the decay process). Is there a way to define the time during which the decay is active, so as to extract the number of particles in each generation at a certain time?

Thank you,

Fatima
