I noticed that G4NeutronHPInelasticCompFS::CompositeApply makes decay gamma all excited states, even those far above alpha/p/d/t/n/h separation energy. It is very unfortunate, since hadronic decay releases the energy in the detector, while gamma may escape.
Unfortunately I couldn't find in F01/data the decay mode info. However, I possible solution could be to add alpha decay mode for all levels above certain energy (e.g. separation energy) or for all excited states where final state gammas are not mentioned explicitly. It ignores J^P selection rules and existence of other modes, but better than the existing method.
