If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.

Dear Geant4 users,
Iím using Geant4 10.1 with the accompanied data libraries and I want to simulate the radioactive decay of Th234. To do this I use the example program rdecay01 with the attached macro file, which is similar to the one posted in message 1451 of this forum. Based on [R.B. Firestone: Table of Isotopes] I would expect that the metastable daughter nucleus Pa234[73.92] mainly decays into U234 (>98%). Thatís also how I understood the file RadioactiveDecay4.2/z91.a234. However, according to the simulation Pa234[73.92] only decays to the Pa234 ground state, please see the attached output file. I would be very grateful if you could help me to explain and to fix this discrepancy.
Kind regards Holger
