Dear colleagues,

I study the 14 MeV neutron irradiation of titanium (built by G4NistManager), with NeutronHP processes, GEANT4.9.6.p02. I have checked the secondaries produced by neutron reactions and found that no nucleus (e.g Ti48,Ti47) was produced during the (n,2n) and (n, n+p) reactions (please find in the attachment Secondaries-Ti.dat). The information of secondaries is retrieved in the SteppingAction. When the occurrence of neutron reaction is identified by the PostStepPoint of incident neutrons. Tracks of secondaries are obtained by: G4TrackVector trackV = GetSecondariesOfCurrentStep(fpSteppingManager ); and the information of secondaries are output iteratively. The results are similar in vanadium, with no nucleus by the two reactions. However, for the case of iron, the production of nucleus can be observed in the (n,2n), (n, n+p) reactions (please refer to Secondaries-Fe.dat). I wonder whether this is a bug in GEANT4.9.6.p02 and whether it has been fixed in GEANT4.10. Thanks for any advice!
